Greetings and salutations!

The Boogervampire (a.k.a. Mary J. Hoffman) here to tell you a little bit about myself.

I'm a California Institute of the Arts Character Animation Grad (got my little BFA Diploma to prove that) from the Class of 2004. I was born in the middle of no where, but raised in Seattle, WA. LA is far different from the murky, gloomy comfort of Seattle, but I've adjusted to the sun and smog of the Burbank, CA neighborhood I now call home.

In case you're a little curious about what I've done (job wise) since graduation, I've done a little here and a little there. I've worked a few freelance Vis-Dev jobs (Disney TV and Yu+Co.), as well as some web illustration (Burner Studios and Neopets), and now I currently work at a job where I get paid to offend people on a weekly, prime time, basis for a fancy cable network. Due to a current confidentiality agreement I'm not allowed to say (out right), but if you check for animated TV shows on Wednesday nights around 10pm, you'll probably figure it out.

In what spare time I have, I enjoy painting (if you haven't checked out that gallery, give it go). Occasionally I exhibit my work in gallerys around LA and I've been lucky enough to have a piece displayed in Philidelphia as well.
